What is Star Trek: Thunderclap?
Star Trek: Thunderclap is a Star Trek fan project that follows the adventures of the USS Thunderclap, a FederationThunderclap-class tactical vessel. The Thunderclap was part of the Spearhead Fleet, an expeditionary force set to explore the neighboring Andromeda Galaxy. however, mere weeks after the expedition began, the wormhole connecting the Milky Way and Andromeda suddenly sealed shut, stranding the fleet in the dangerous reaches of a far-flung galaxy.
Now trapped in unknown space, the Thunderclap and her crew must try to survive the dangers of the vast and hostile Andromeda, avoiding the xenophobic Centaran Assembly as they try and hunt down the fleet, and forming new alliances with the various species and civilizations that inhabit the vast stretches of the Andromeda Galaxy.
Star Trek: Thunderclap will feature a wide range of new planets, species, anomalies, and civilizations that are sure to keep you interested along the way.
